Gamester was a product line that designed and manufactured licensed accessories compatible with Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo gaming consoles. The PSP Auto Station was a docking device that allowed consumers to use automobile cup holders to safely display and charge the Sony PSP, a popular handheld gaming device. The unit featured adjustable viewing angles and the ability to charge while docked.
I produced concept sketches and physical mock-ups to arrive at the final direction. Mock-ups are always essential, and with this product, they played an integral part in understanding the device's cord management.
Once management selected the final design, I created the Solidworks assembly, which I passed on to the engineering team for tooling and manufacturing preparation.
